Different techniques of writing scientific report

The different techniques of writing scientific report are-
(I).References:
Definition:
Reference is a list of the sources that a writer referred in the research work.
Characteristics:
  1. A reference can be used to support an argument.
  2. References are arranged alphabetically & numerically.
  3. References are those that are directly include in your actual text.
  4. References are those that have been referenced in your article or book.
(II).Bibliography:
Definition:
Bibliography is a list of the materials that a writer used during research work.
Characteristics:
  1. A bibliography may be comprehensive or selective.
  2. Long bibliographies may be published serially or in book form.
  3. A bibliography includes both in text citations & other sources, that are used to generated the idea.
  4. Also known as a list of works cited, a bibliography may appear at the end of a book or research paper.
(III).Abstract:
Definition:
Abstract is a brief summary of a research article, thesis & is often used to help the reader quickly ascertain the papers purpose.
Characteristics:
  1. State clearly the objectives of the study.
  2. Summarize the results.
  3. State the principal conclusions of the research.
  4. Concisely describe the method employed in gathering the data, processing & analysis.
(III).Keywords:
Definition:
Keywords are important words or concepts found in research question or thesis.
Characteristics:
  1. Keywords have a profound impact on search results.
  2. Retrieve more results than phrases or sentences.
  3. Keywords are basically an abbreviation of an abstract.
  4. About 4 to 10 words are used in the case of keywords.
